
Ingredients:
1 MALU Pork Boerewors
1 Roll Puff Pastry
30ml Tomato Sauce
30ml Chutney
1 Egg
10ml BBQ Braai Spice
Method:
- Remove the sausage casing.
- Cut the Boerewors roll in half (same length as the pastry sheet).
- Lay the pastry flat, place the two lengths of Boerewors on the pastry sheet, 3 fingers apart.
- Spoon or brush Tomato sauce and chutney over the Boerewors.
- Cut the puff pastry between the sausages, in order to fold around the Boerewors.
- Fold and pinch the pastry around the Boerewors.
- Place pies on a baking tray and brush with a beaten egg.
- Sprinkle the pies with your favourite BBQ spice.
- Place in a pre-heated oven, 180°C, for 30 minutes or until pies are golden brown and flaky.
