Pork Fillet & Bacon Sosatie

Ingredients:

  • Sosaties
  • 1kg pork fillet
  • 250g streaky bacon
  • Sosatie sticks

Marinade: (mix all the ingredients together)

  • ¼ cup soya sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp. minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. chopped coriander (optional)
  • 1 finely chopped chilli (optional)
  • Salt and pepper or braai spice to taste.

Method:

Cut fillet into ½ inch medallions

Wrap with a piece of streaky bacon and secure on the skewer

Lightly brush with marinade and braai until just cooked inside (be very careful not to overcook!)

Baste and season while cooking

Serve with your favourite braai accompaniments!
