Pork Belly in the air fryer

Pork Belly in the air fryer

Ingredients:

  • 1kg MALU Pork Belly (deboned)

  • 30ml Garlic Salt

Method:

  1. Score the pork belly skin diagonally in a diamond pattern.
  2. Dry the pork belly skin using kitchen towel.
  3. Rub the whole pork belly with garlic salt. You can add more garlic flakes or garlic powder if preferred.
  4. Allow the salt to extract access moisture from the skin, after 5 – 10 minutes dry the skin again with kitchen towel.
  5. Place the pork belly skin side up in your air fryer. Air fry for 40minutes at 160°C, then a further 10minutes at 195°C until crackling is crisp and golden.
  6. Slice the pork belly as desired.

Tip: This is also great to serve as an appetizer. Slice the pork belly into bite size bites and serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
