
Ingredients:
1 Onion
15ml Crushed Garlic
1kg MALU Pork Mince
600g Basil & Tomato pasta sauce of your choice
400g Canned Diced Tomatoes
15ml Mixed Herbs
15ml Chilli Flakes (Optional)
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (Grated)
500g Penne Pasta
Method:
- Cook the Penne Pasta ‘al dente’. Not to soft as it will cook further later in this recipe.
- Over medium heat fry the onion and garlic until light brown.
- Add the pork mince and fry until cooked.
- Add pasta sauce, canned tomatoes, herbs and chilli flakes. Ensure to thoroughly mix through.
- Add the cooked pasta and combine with mince mixture.
- Transfer to an ovenproof dish. Add the mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Oven bake for 20 minutes, 180°C.
